ONTD, this is a dog-love post.
And that's the real title of an upcoming film featuring your FAVOURITE SVU detective, John Munch ... and others.
Daddy never let me have a dog ...
Celebrities and dog lovers headed to the
Directors Guild of America earlier this week for the special New York City premiere screening of the new movie,
My Dog: An Unconditional Love Story. Twenty percent of every dollar earned by the film will be donated to nonprofit animal welfare charities. The special screening this week benefited the
ASPCA.
The documentary, produced by Daryl Roth and Mark St. Germain, explores the relationship between people and their pups. Featuring interviews with actors, musicians, and writers - the film reveals the love and companionship that dogs bring to us.
Some of our favorite doggy-loving celebs make an appearance in the film -- Richard Belzer, a regular at NYC animal charity events; Glenn Close, who works with the
fetchdog web site; Cindy Adams, the recent host of a local
blessing of the animals; and Isaac Mizrahi, animal lover and attendee at the
ASPCA Bergh Ball last month.
The film will officially release on May 25.
