Second post today. I know, I'm ridiculous. As if I didn't have enough to say in the 643 words (estimate) in the first entry. (Well, to those of you non-friend lurkers, this will be my first.)I just wanted to say that I am now planning our vacation to Disney (for January 14th). Any tips/advice/pointers? Bringing a two-year-old to Disney sounds ( Read more... )

My mother and I took my boys to Disney in July. My oldest had just turned 4, and my youngest was one month away from being 2. We didn't "plan" a trip to Disney; my parents have a home just an hour away, so we took somewhat of a day trip. I don't suggest you do that. If I could do it over again, I would totally plan to stay in a hotel in the premises. Nap times is vital ( ... )

Thanks! I was considering staying there even though it's only two hours away from us, and now I think I'm convinced. A two-year-old without a nap all day at an amusement park? Scary thought.

I really want to know, but couldn't find on the website, what rides he will be able to go on. Namely Haunted Mansion, since it's James' favorite.

One more! Is there anywhere I can find a list of what will be going on on the day that I'm going? January 14th, like what time the parade is, blah blah blah, so I can kind of figure out what we should do, when we should do it, and when we should plan his nap in between.

my advice is thatttttt after disney you guys should come over to my place for dinner if you aren't going to be too tired. i live like 30 minutes away from disney, but you could save some money on eating there, unless you know. you want to lol.

Yeah, that would be neat! :) We are probably driving up on the 14th and staying that night, since the 14th is his birthday - so that's when we plan to go to the park and we want to be able to bring him back to the hotel room for naps, etc. Where do your cousins live?

I know! I thought it was so neat. I was pretty young when we went, and I have a pretty bad memory, but I couldn't forget that.

I have always said that Tennessee is one of the random places I'd like to live even though I have no family there whatsoever. I haven't even been there, I've just heard that it's sooo beautiful. I love Stone Mountain, too. It's awesome :)
