What destination is tropical, remote, beachy, culturally interesting and yet does not require a passport? Puerto Rico! I found an AWESOME deal and now I just have to talk Crystal into it. I am super fucking excited at the prospect. SUPER fucking excited.

We're now thinking about Miami for the end of the month instead of the gulf coast, since it is warm there and there are PHENOMENAL package deals going on. I can't wait to be lying in the sun drinking something with an umbrella in it! Eeee! -

I, for example, am terrified of butterflies. I think that you can tell a lot about a person by what frightens them. I woke up with a really terrible headache. I'm going to hope that it's caffeine-related for now, but if coffee doesn't make it go away, I am going back to bed. -

Having spent the last couple of hours unwinding, I now feel relaxed enough to go to bed. Of course, the late hour means that I'll be gymming in the early afternoon instead of the early morning and that my metabolism will likely suffer as a consequence, but fuck it- my 2s are getting baggier by the day, so I'm not worried. It was an annoyingly busy and stressful day, following a blissfully relaxed and activity-free weekend. I have only just finished working today (although at least I've been working from home, so it could be a lot worse.) Tomorrow promises to be more of the same.
