So. Kris leaves tomorrow. It's over. We have decided to take on a more open relationship... we will still call eachother a lot, we will still tell eachother we love one another, but we accept that once I go to school, things are over romantically, and we are now free to explore our options with other people

I definitely know what you mean. No matter how much you care and love someone, sometimes the distance is just too much. And even though you may say you can make the distance work, most of the time it just doesn't work out. I'm sorry it didn't work out, if you ever need someone to talk to, my door is always open. :)
