According to Variety, Boyd is in final negotiations to be part of the cast of "The Host", an adaptation of the book by Stephenie Meyer.

New project
According to his IMDB page, Boyd is going to film at least one episode of the mini series Hatfields & McCoys, for History Channel. He will play William 'Cap' Hatfield. There's some info about the series here.
