Following the results of the poll we took last month (don't make it easy on us or anything, guys, haha!), we've decided to hold a comment fic meme once every three months. This gives everyone time to write and prompt to their heart's content, and allows us mods to keep up with y'all. And we're starting right now!

Sam/Sarah Blake, anytime after they parted ways at the end of "Provenance." Because Sam needs non-monster lovin', and he's into dark-haired girls anyway.

Wow *clears throat* This one actually made me cry. The line about 5 years- a lifetime. Yeah, that sort of stuff always gets me- sappiply sentimental. :-) And I always had a thing for Sam/Sarah; she seemedto me like on girl who could actually make things work with Sam even with the hunting and all.

You inadvertently filled one of the prompts I asked for with this, which was Sam meeting Sarah again while he's got a head full of Hell, making you rock forever. I am SO glad that Sarah decided not to turn around and walk the other way when she saw that he wasn't really okay.
And the way Sam's changed--seeing souls and colors and auras, and feeling physical pain from the things that had been done to him--absolutely brilliant.

I kept going a little farther with this one, it kind of grabbed me. I keep finding out more things, lol. Now I have to know what all happened to him. (And where Dean is ... WHERE IS DEAN!?)

Oh yes, please do make this longer. When you don't fill in the blanks like that and jump right into the middle of a story, it makes it poetic without bogging it down with details and the how's and why's of the immediate situation, but it also drives your readers CRAZY because it's like a teaser for what's next...or what happened to get all the characters there to that point. MORE, I say. Rawr.
Now I want to know where Dean is too, dangit.
Or how Sarah's reacting to Sam from her own POV, maybe...?
As to the icon- ;D It's my own personal life philosophy. Not a great one, but honest. I nabbed it from the iconomicon community.
By the way-
"You move to turn away from her before her fear can become grief. You are tired of seeing people grieve for you - grief is wasted on the dead." That's the best line. I got chills from the starkness there.

Sorry for the late response - finals week at school lol.

Thanks so much! I was so pleased with this one that I have extended this fic and it should post this afternoon, only 1-2 more paragraphs to go. :)
