Sammy used to have nightmares about fire. He eventually grew out of it, but for awhile there, he couldn’t fall asleep without Dean’s reassuring presence pressed against his back and maybe, maybe a little rain falling outside for good measure because then he could just run outside and the fire couldn’t follow him
