Oh, YAY! I was a little worried, because it didn't turn out as Sassy as I originally thought it would. But that's because I think there's going to be a Sassy-ish follow up. As it turned out, I felt like Sam and Dean had some things to work out before that could happen. Dean was so much more protective than I expected!

Thanks for going with it anyway. :D This was such a great prompt. Really got the creative spirit going.

I really love this story. It's hard to pin down what Sam's thinking sometimes, but you've given him a voice that feels very authentic.

So what if Sam's a walking train wreck? So what if he'll never have a normal relationship with anyone again? As long as he can keep going, as long as he still has Dean's back, it's good enough for him.

This line beautifully sums up his struggle this season to be okay and do the job against overwhelming odds.
