Oh, this was purely PERFECT. Everything was so spot-on, from Amelia's characterization, to her constant mental switchbacks between canine and human anatomy, to the "Alien" references, the Herriot references, the building horror of Sam's situation, of Amelia roping in Dean as a surgical assistant, Sam's "It's a girl!" . . . and your surgical descriptions were glorious. Either your research skills are supernatural, or you MUST be in the field. ;)

Such an awesome, wonderful job of storytelling. Bravo, and thanks for writing and sharing it!

Holy hell, this was AWESOME! I kept squeeing like a crazy person all the way through that prep and surgery - so intense and real and, somehow, funny. Because X-RAY ARTIFACT! :D I love the characterization, the creepy alien ferret thingie and the surgery scene, damn, I love that one beyond all reason. That was so cool, thank you!

I haven't been on the hate!Amelia bandwagon, but was reserving judgment a bit. Now, every time I see her (or mention of her), I will think of this, and completely embrace the character!

Oh, I adored this! Amelia trying to categorize things medically so her head wouldn't explode, Dean being helpful, Sammy! having to be awake through it all.

This was fantastic. There's not much Amelia fic out there because I'm aware that much of fandom doesn't like her, but I happen to be a fan and I love this story. I agree...I want this to be an episode so we can see just how badass Amelia is. :D
