Alright, everyone, it’s nearly Valentine’s Day! You know what this means? It’s the perfect opportunity to show our love for our favorite Winchester by doing what we do best - hurting him, maiming him, making him sick, putting him through emotional torture. Y’know, the usual.

Alright, Sam knows he’s gone through a fuckload of brain trauma. He does

Sam huffs and points to the notepad on Dean’s desk. Dean turns back to him and quirks an eyebrow. He picks up the pad and paper. “You want this?”

Sam nods.

Dean hands it over and Sam clicks the pen, scrawling thickly and sharply in a way he knows even sounds pissed. Scratch. Scratch. Scratch. He tears off the top sheet and thrusts it at Dean, who plucks it off of his fingers.

This isn’t funny, Dean.
He thought Dean would make some joke and lighten the mood, do that Dean-patented goof thing that makes Sam feel better every time he freaks out, but he doesn’t. His lips thin and his jaw tightens, and Sam would ask what’s up this time but he doesn’t want to make things worse

This was perfect! I think I said all my thoughts on the comment on the story on AO3, but I just really loved the way you handled Sam's reaction and gave us some wonderful comfort at the end. I loved this! You captured Sam's fear about what's happened perfectly, and telling it from Sam's POV was a great choice too. Thank you for sharing :)

Great fill! I loved following Sam's understanding of what's going on through his thought process. I could actually feel the comfort of Dean's support. And leave it to him to play it 'chill and Netflix while we find a solution'. He's an awesome big brother and you portrayed it perfectly ;-)
