Wonderful! I loved how you played on two meaning of the prompt; the love at first sight, stealing your breath away, and how the smoke from Jess's fiery death steals his breath physically. I'm a sucker for a Jess fic, and I loved how you tied this prompt to her.

Oh, god, this is so painful! The first part was beautiful and the second was utterly heartbreaking! I love anything with Jess in it, and this was just perfect. I love Sam's realization, as soon as he meets her, that she's the girl he's going to marry. Oh, Sammy...
