Ohhh, this has such a dark and creepy vibe to it, and I loved seeing the interactions between John and Sam. Thank you for sharing :)

Thank you! Dark and creepy was exactly what I was going for. I wanted you to know only as much as Sam does, but there are some horrifying indicators as to what happened to him, mainly John's reluctance to tell Sam what happened, and the bruises.

Ohh this is so good. I like how we don't get the whole story, but only what Sam does. And I like how the ending feels muted. It all adds up to be quietly haunting. Fantastic work!

Like the others, I really like that what happened to Sam isn't explicitly spelled out. It elevates the horror.
