A week and a half ago my little 3 year old started walking hunched over in agony and only hours later after a trip to the hospital and then another trip in the ambulance to the Childrens Hospital he was having an emergency operation on his kidney. This came totally out of the blue and only the day before I had written my previous entry saying he

Oh my goodness, I have a just-turned-4-year old and am sincerely in tears at the thought...
Look at him!! He's incredibly handsome and this is such an amazing age. They're resiliant little brave creatures, I'm sure he will continue to be well. I wish you all the best for the future surgeries.

I don't know how parents who go through this kind of stuff survive. I can't imagine a more helpless situation. I'm so glad to know he's ok. Best of luck with everything else, he sounds like a very brave little guy.
