So...it took almost nineteen years but I finally learned to stand up for myself, say what I'm feeling and not let people walk all over me. And about 7 or 8 of those years were filled with me watching you refuse to settle for anything less than perfection, or at least anything that you didn't want. I used to think change was always bad or scary, or at least you'd notice while it was happening. But, as cliche as it is, sometimes it just happens in an instant...and there's no turning back. So I just wanted to say thanks for not taking anyone's bullshit and always trying to get me to say whatever was bothering me...better late than never, right

i'm SO happy you are standing up for yourself now, and it means a fucking lot to me that you'd thank me for being a part of that. i always knew you had it in you, and i'm glad you finally do too. you're a strong, intelligent, and awesome person.. don't let anyone make you think any differently of yourself!

and i hope your right, that if he knows he can turn to me he'll be okay.. and i really think he will, but it's hard to know for sure so i'll always be worried.. i just care about that little man a lot, so i don't want anything bad to happen to him you know? i swear to go i'll kick the ass of anyone who trys to get him to do something bad!
