I finally read this, and this is lovely. I used to do that a lot, you know- sit outside and watch the stars, regardless of the temperature. The thoughts running through my head were the same. I guess I studied astronomy for all the wrong 'romantic' reasons, but...I'm still glad I did.

I really like your characters and this quiet moment they shared. I'm really interested to eventually see what's up with them in the big 'monster'. ;) Thanks for sharing this.

I sincerely appreciate the comment! ♥ Star-gazing was always one of my favorite things to do during the summer out on the farm where the cities were far enough away to let the stars shine. And I don't think that it's wrong to find the romance and beauty in astronomy. I'm interested in that part of it... not so much the actual science. (Then again, I'm in the Liberal Arts camp, so...)
