What does emo mean to you?// Emo, in my opinion, is emotional... a way to describe a genre of music written by those who are better at putting their feelings into words than most of us are. Emo music is an outlet for me, which is why I'm a silly girl that seems to find a way to relate all my favorite emo songs to my life. It's just great stuff. <3
Favorite song lyric// It changes all the time, depending on the situations I'm in at the moment. What is your opinion on the following?//
Emo: My favorite type of music with the best quotable lyrics! It's honest, and it hits you where music should... right in the heart. <3
Abortion: Under certain circumstances, such as rape cases, or being under the age of... oh, 14? ... I think it might be acceptable. However, I don't approve of any big nasty (big nasty = wh0re
straightedge: I think being straightedge is an awesome way to go, but it's not for everyone. I'm sure being apart of a group that upholds the same values as you do gives you a better backbone for standing up for what you believe is right. I'm not under the "straightedge" label, but I agree with their philosophy.
War: I agree with defending our nation, but I do NOT agree with the way our country has gone about the war, and I don't agree with the motives behind our president's actions in the Middle East.
Drugs: Herione, Crack, and all that heavy stuff I just believe should be off limits to everyone, because it's dangerous... too dangerous to be worth any appeal that it might have. Weed, alchol, and the smaller things should be done in moderation, if one choses to do so. I do not do drugs, in fact, I've only seen weed ONCE, but I do not look down upon those who do. It's their life, not mine.
I am so emo that I can find a way to relate to any emotional song, and I search for that perfect "emo" quote to put in my profile for AIM. How cool am I? Jus' kiddin'. <3//
