Hello all, sorry it's been a while since my previous update. I kept thinking, "Oh, I'll wait until after _______ appointment, then I'll update with that info." But things kept coming up so I kept putting it off... needless to say it's been a busy few weeks

What fabulous pictures! :D Gosh, they look so so different than so many of the others ones did, and you can tell it's because of his progress in therapy and just in how good he feels about himself.

Wow, his progress really is amazing. It sounds like he has really adjusted well to the demands of his therapy routine in CA, and that makes me think he will do equally well in the transition to school-based services.

He looks so delighted and happy in those pictures- I love it!
Glad the speech eval went well. It must be frustrating when they don't get an accurate picture of his skills.

It's horribly frustrating. At his 6 month post-transplant eval at Duke, the developmental ped evaluated him with receptive language skills at the level of 7 months. He was over 2 years old then, and still as cognitively intact as he has always been. We were like, "HUH???" She hadn't really paid attention to his skills and just assumed that he was delayed. Grr.

Oh, I'm so homesick for Half Moon Bay... great picture. Jackson looks great and so happy, as always. Such a sweetheart he is. :) We'll have to get the boys together at the beach next time we come to town, probably June or so. Thanks for the update. :)
