Hello lovelies~
Welcome, one and all, to my journal and being my friend. I'ma gonna put a little bit about me under the cut and a few questions for all of you so I can get to know you better!
I'm glad to have so many new friends! It makes me quite happy. I feel like I'm like really getting to be part of the fandom now!
My name is Leigh. I'm 18, born in the American south (my opinions on local culture, politics and American culture in general can be stated another time) and lived here all of my life and a freshman at Uni, studying History and probably adding on a double major in English next semester. I took a semester of Japanese as language, but have since switched over to French for practical reasons (aka, I want to go to Europe, specifically England and France). Currently I'm taking a Western Civ class (starting with the end of medieval ages going to present), British Literature, French 101 and Imperial German History (I couldn't get into Medieval History this semester ): ). I'm doing A LOT of reading this semester and a few papers. I'm very excited.
I love music. A lot. Panic! at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Empires, Motion City Soundtrack, Imogen Heap & Frou Frou, Three Days Grace, lots of random nonsense. I've been listening to lots of fanmixes, Misfits soundtrack, etc. Right now I've got Hot Chip, Klaxons, The National and The Raptures bouncing through my head.
And, yeah. Merlin, Sherlock, Doctor Who (not yet caught up), Misfits (middle of second season), Being Human (not yet caught up), Criminal Minds, True Blood, Dexter (haven't watched the last season though), Law and Order: SVU, actual History programs that come on the History Channel, random stuff on Animal Planet, and pretty much anything that catches my interest. I'm not super big on movies, usually. But my favorites are Fight Club, Inception, Sherlock Holmes (omg, love me some Robert Downey Jr.) Black Swan, Ever After, Push/Ink./Jumper more for concepts than actual content, and random other stuff.
And writing~ Currently I'm writing a kind of dark fic called 'Surrender to the Storm' that is being updated on the Kink Meme. It's uhhhhh dark. And Arthur is pretty OOC most of the time. I've been looking at a lot of other Kink Meme prompts, and I'm probably going to write a few shorter fics pretty soon. And I plan on participating in the Merlin big bang!
You might see some fan art from me eventually~ I draw on a tablet and with copics (I went to an art-focused high school for half of the day for most of my high school education).
