SCREW YOU NETFLIX!!!

So, I've finally gotten through all of the Doctor Who available to me. But alas, Netflix does not have series 5 available for instant streaming ;__; My cry of anguish was heard all throughout the dorm, I think. So I started watching Torchwood (and damn near finished the first season in one day . . .) and can I just say that I love Ianto and I would ( Read more... )

Big big <33333333333 for Doctor Who and Torchwood (though I'm in the same boat as you and can't watch Series 5 because of Netflix!!!).

And if you're an Ianto Jones fan, all I can say is wait until the end of Children of the Earth. Holy fucking Jesus.

Thanks! There are three positions open under the same listing, so I'm hoping that I'll have a decent shot at it since I have Tuesdays (completely) and Thursday's (mostly) free and I'll be easy to schedule xD

Oh, and it goes

1. Planet of the Dead
2. Waters of Mars
3. End of Time

Though I hear you can watch them in any order because they don't really pertain to each other (I haven't watched them yet because I'm anal and must watch them in order OR ELSE!!!)

Yeah, I'm the same way about most things. For the longest time I refused to watch Doctor Who completely because I was like, "Well I have to start back with the ORIGINAL Doctor Who" but then I was like "fuck it."

I'm gonna buy the specials too so I'll eventually get to watch them all, I just don't know when. Unfortunately I just don't have the cash to go around buying EVERYDVDEVAR that I want to buy xD

IKR. Dear god, the amount of DVDs on my to buy list is disgusting. I NEED MONEY SOOOOOOOO BAD!!!

But seriously, some shows I need to buy RIGHT NOW:

How I Met Your Mother, the rest of Smallville, Legend of the Seeker season 2, ALL OF DOCTOR WHO AND TORCHWOOD, Battlestar Galactica, EVERY STARGATE EVAR, the rest of That 70s Show, X-Files, the rest of Naruto, Being Human...I'm sure I missed a whole bunch. Stupid college and being poor :(

TOO MANY SHOWS.

I just got series 5 for $28 on eBay, which was nice and I'm going to watch to see if I can get a deal on the rest of the seasons. They have Torchwood on eBay, too, but Amazon has Torchwood on Blu-Ray for $50 a season. And I kind of just love Blu-Ray a lot. So pretttyyyyyy.

I was going to start watching Battlestar Galactica on Netflix, but they didn't have the miniseries or whatever that comes on before the first seasons or something like that on instant play so I never got around to it. We've got the miniseries in our DVD queue but it takes us a long time to get through DVDS DX

I just finished watching Season 1 of Torchwood! :D Ianto is amazing!!! :D
And as for Doctor Who, as far as I remember you don't need to see Planet of the Dead to watch Waters of Mars.
But if you're desperate, I found it uploaded in parts over here: http://www.myvideo.de/watch/6321240/Doctor_Who_Planet_of_the_Dead_Easter_Special_Part_1
The quality isn't too great, though :/ So I'd say just skip it and go straight to Waters of Mars. :)

Oh, your icon is absolutely precious! As much as I'm going to miss David Tennant I'm excited to see Matt Smith.

And thank you for the link! I probably will just skip over it, but I never know when I'm going to get bored and have nothing else to do xD

I thought I'd hate Matt Smith because he wasn't David Tennant. But then I watched him and I found that I couldn't hate him. He was too awesome. :D

Haha, I hope it turns out the same for me. Like, as long as I've known Doctor Who existed David Tennant has been The Doctor. I remember watching a marathon YEARS ago when I was at the beach. The first episode I ever saw was the last episode with Rose as a companion. Then I forgot what it was and only recently rediscovered it :P
