Returned from my friends' annual long weekend in Michigan (near White Cloud, if you must know) in a friend's cottage on a lake. You can buy a fuel injector cleaner. So after you fill your car up once then the next tank put some more in. Also get the car out on the highway for some hire speed driving. Then for the next couple of months make sure you drive your car once a week for at least 15-30 minutes. I had the same problem with one of the older cars I was driving and my current car if I don't drive it enough has the same problem.

I intend to. When I asked the mechanic what they used he wouldn't say but probably going to Pep Boys or similar would get me something just as good as whatever they used.
I think you're right about the highway driving. I hardly ever have occasion to go over 60 and even then it's not for long (ten minutes at a time). The garage didn't ask me this but I probably drive the car about an hour and a half a week.

Yeah I would start driving it a little more for a while and then just put fuel injector cleaner in it every 6 month after it starts driving right.

Anyhow, 'Sea Foam' is highly praised for cleaning carbon deposits on the automtive forums I read.
