Leaving for Morocco in exactly 24 hours, and I have so much to do I can't even see straight.  I am super excited to spend 2 weeks hiking about the desert/mountains, but at the same time am very sad that I will have very little contact with The Cheek.  We spoke via webcam the other night and it was such a strange feeling to see her on the other end ( Read more... )

It was heartbreaking to see my cheeky set off alone with a stewardess and her hidden teddy bear.  It broke my heart.  She is a big girl now.  I was still crying in the RER back to Paris.  Saturday morning, Bastille Day.  The Brit and I had the rest of the weekend to spend cliché-like in Paris.  Our hotel was in The Marais, ( Read more... )

Ca y est.  Cap Ferret has been emptied and deserted.  The only part of us that stays behind is our spirits, and three initials carved on a tree with the year '07.  It wasn't as sad as I thought it would be, but I think I am still in somewhat denial that our weekends will be spent either in Bordeaux, or camping on the beach.  A huge step down from ( Read more... )

I don't think I have ever been to a real professional interview.  Most jobs I've ever had have been because I've known someone, or someone got the job for me, or it's been for some petty hostess job etc...

Today, I am off to a real interview... I know no one, no one helped me, and..... it's in french.
