I can't help but feel mopey. I actually kind of like being at work and not having to think about how I really feel. Maybe that's why some people are workaholics? I hope that never happens to me.

First I got yelled at by surly black man in North Oakland. Then I went to eye candy to get the tattoo on my arm. Erik and Jen watched but neither of them held my hand. After that was alll done the three of us went to shadyside (looking back on it, I'm not sure why.) After THAT was taken care of Erik and I went to my grandma's house to eat cake. Then he and I went to the waterfront, where we tried to get a table at PF Changs, but had to wait for about a jillion minutes. In the meantime we went to the shoestore and saw Troy Polamalu there. He didn't buy any shoes.

KATE! I'm kind of oblivious to pop culture EVERY YEAR.
25.) How would you rate this year with a scale from 1 (shitty) to 10 (excellent)?
At this moment, it feels like all the CRAP I feel at the moment is really outweighing the awesome things that happened. Overall this year is probably a 4. But when I look back on it later, it will probably be remembered as more like 1.
