A new law is being tabled to the senate allowing police and ASIO power to access mobile phone calls and internet browsing effectively in real time. It has already passed through the lower house. Spy laws....

Um... if its already passed the lower house shouldnt we be contacting senators rather than MPs?

How do you find out in this case? I wouldn't know - but I am also -very- uncomfortable with this. These kinds of things can pave the
way neatly to a police state (nation?).

I was going to write to my MP, presumably there's a senator that governs the seat I live in that I could write instead?

Probably why they haven't called the election yet, can't pass anything once the election is called.
