I almost slipped up today by trying to sell Islamic bonds to a company in Israel. It wasn’t until the other side had picked up the phone that I realized the possible gaffe that I was heading towards. I quickly hung up - oddly feeling like a juvenile prank-caller.

shipping lines are not supposed to call any arabic ports before entering the territorial waters of Israel and vice versa.

hmm - didn't know that. interesting. even though i just found out something like 1/3 of israel's population is muslim. weird how the world works eh?
