Since I'm going to New Orleans for the Golden Key conference tomorrow the chapter is being all fancy and flying me down. I'm fine with flying but lately I've been  neurotic about it. I am working in the lab a lot. I am studying organic chemistry a lot.

I really want it to be August 10th RIGHT NOW.

Is it a bad sign if on day 1 I realize this might be a really bad idea? I am beginning to question this learning curve, like, when do I actually start learning that I cannot do everything? I hate writing things about how fantastic I am, as in for scholarship applications. It makes me feel pretentious which is one of my biggest annoyances. Why do I have reiterate everything I've done in the past two years when you've seen me do it the entire time? I would like the money but I would also like not to feel like the biggest tool ever.
