ADVISE NEEDED

The worst thing about needed to talk to someone is when the people you would trust their opinion of, 2 are in england, one isnt home, mum is driving home and i dont know where bronnaz is. So im asking you people on the lj world for your advise

Tell her the truth, straight up. If you skirt around the issue you'll probably end up hurting her feelings more than you would if you did so. Like you said, you've already got 6 bridesmaids (6!!! Jeebus), and the decision as to who those 6 would be was made at a pretty important event which she wasn't present for (I dunno any of the circumstances like why she wasn't able to attend, but I'm assuming she didn't come because there's still a bit of iffiness between you two).

That's just my opinion anyway; I know fuck all about weddings and how important they can be to some people (other than the bride and groom I mean)!

i agree with what mandaroo said. if she hasn't been around, why should she expect to still have a spot? etc.

Yeah I've with Anna, it sounds like she said thanks for asking her to be a part, but she isn't going to be a part of it and she's sorry for 'letting you down'. I could be wrong though.

I'd write back saying something like:

It's ok that you don't want to be a bridesmaid, I understand your feelings, and I've found 6 other special people to take up the role for me. I asked you because you were such a special part of my life, but you won't be any less a part of the wedding just by being there on the day.

and then it doesnt matter what she said, it just clarifies that you don't need her in the wedding party/don't mind that she's not in it.
