So about a month after I got my Razr phone, it turns out there's an issue with the phone and it won't hold a charge. Absolute manufacture's issue. I took it to TMobile- they said no problem, we'll get you a new phone. They said corporate would ship me a phone, and all I'd have to do is stick my old phone in the box, put on the address label that's ( Read more... )

I'm typically not a loudy mclouderson kind of person. I'm waiting until I'm in a bad mood to call them. Take it out on them, you know.

Lots of places will charge you shipping for warranty service. That's not uncommon at at all.

Whether you want to fight it or not is another story of course. Give it a shot.

fight it. i would. call the company and say - i noticed a 10 dollar shipping fee on my bill and i'd like it removed. i'm willing to bet they'll give you a credit for it. phone companies - at least around here - hate confrontation and will do just about anything to keep customers happy. (when we moved here, i asked them to waive the hook-up fee since i've paid them about 20 times in my life. instead of crediting me the 30 dollars, they didn't charge me in the first place AND credited me 30 dollars. so i was actually UP in the end, ha.)

fight it -- but be mindful of the time it takes.

Sometimes the time it takes won't be worth it.
