see, fanueil sometimes gets too crowded for me. i was really looking for somewhere outside of that area.

i went to foggy goggle once before... and it did seem a little... trashy.

Yeah Fanueil does suck like that sometimes. I prefer Boylston if you're looking for something outside of there, but I know the options are not huge. Try the Kells, you might like it.

foggy goggle SUCKS. it's like what christine said..

I haven't been to the Kells but I hear it's nice.

The Tap in fanueil hall nice it has 2 floors...I'm not a fan of Whiskey's...

Sissy k's is fun too- also in fanueil hall ... but i was pretty drunk so i don't know if it's fun if you aren't drunk but since it's your b-day you will prob be drinking lol.

i've yet to find a place i really LOVE though.. i guess it all depends on what kind of mood you are in.. wherever you end up, have fun!!!

haha... I think Sissy K's is definitely a only-fun-if-you're-drunk place, I was there once, but it was after my 5 year reunion and I was pretty hammered, and I still found it "meh."

The Kells is nice at dinnertime/early evening. They have a nice bar area and serve food. I actually stole a fun glass from there once. It's the trashy gross skeevy men that turn me off from that place.

If you go to the Kell's, make sure it is during the college off-season. It is part of the Harvard Avenue college scene -- if you go during the school year, the Kell's is a BC / BU meat market. However, since you always talk about "shaking your ass", this might be your best option in that area ( ... )

I agree I like the Common Ground, and it's over by the Kells if you decide you want to end up going there.
