OMG THE LEVERAGE FINALE!!!!

THE FINALE WAS JUST SO DAMN GOOD.
Sophie is back!!!!!!!!!! finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have missed her so damn much. Tara did grew on me but she wasn't Sophie, she couldn't fill her shoes.
When she showed up, I was able to breathe, thinking that everything was going to be ok (now that she is here) but then it wasn't. Nate was shot and he had to surrender to Sterling to protect them. but he called them his family, that was so sweet. oh and that last line "My name is Nate Ford. And I am a thief" xD xD xD so happy.
and I liked how Sterling doesn't know him anymore. last season, he had the upper-hand. now Nate does. he won cause Nate let him win. he was one step ahead. Nate has changed, he has evolved while Sterling hasn't. so now Nate knows how Sterling thinks but Sterling no longer knows how Nate thinks.
and that is the real victory.
there were so many wonderful moments in the episode. so many worrying moments. how is Nate going to get them out this time? I knew going back to the offices was a bad idea, and when they offered him the deal I was so worried. not that he'd sell them out, he'd never do that, but just of what was going to happen.
and then Tara and her secret and what's going on there? I didn't think she was betraying the team, I thought she must be doing something to help Nate but I didn't think she'd bring Sophie back but I was so damn happy when she showed up, I clapped and squeed and flailed and if I had been there I would've hugged her too.
I knew Nate'd been shot when he was at the door and felt worried about him and then they're all going to the chopper and Sterling shows up and he gives himself up...
it was a great moment,so dramatic.
and he finally told sophie he needed her! took him long enough. and she came back to rescue them all. and they kissed and she slapped him, which he deserved,really. but I'm glad they kissed, it was a long time coming.
I'm so excited for s3, I wonder how they can possibly top what they've done so far but I believe they will and that it will be even awesome-r.
Damn, I love this show. all the characters, the different dynamics and relationships,the jokes,everything. it's one of those shows with a surrogate family in which every character is lovable. even Sterling, as the villain, is a good, nay, a brilliant villain. Mark Sheppard says he's Moriarty to Nate's Holmes which seems like a very apt comparison.
the only thing I didn't like about the finale was that it was the finale which means there's months to go for a new episode.
and my lists of shows I'm watching, more especifically, shows I'm excited about grows even shorter! and that makes me sad.
I don't know if there's another show I can watch that's like leverage, that I can connect with, that excites me as much. Castle is the only one that comes close at the moment.
Oh, and a quick check of my flist tells me there's news about s5 of Doctor Who.
I think that for this series, I don't want to be surprised.
