Am in between my 5th night & 5th morning in Japanland, and have concluded that:

1) Japan is a ridiculously expensive consumer society;

2) The cicadas here are almost deafening during the daytime, and at night the grasshoppers (and motorcycle gangs) take over;

3) HUMIDITY SUCKS. I am unused to such weather! D:

4) The food, however, is so so so ( Read more... )

Haha I'm back now :D

LOL, while I was in Japan, my cousin's family successfully made me learn all of Dong Bang Shin Ki's names...and I watched 3 of their concerts. =_=

They can't become unpopular fast enough =____=;; Well, hopefully it'll pass over in Japan, too, since they switch crazes so often, haha.

(Nearly the) BEST THING ABOUT JAPAN = FOOD. ♥

Uh, yeah, I totally can't live in Asia if that's the weather for summer (and the mosquitoes, egads!! And yes, omfg, the cicadas, stfu). But yeah, Taiwan's the same as Japan, so after a few hours of realizing that I have to stay on the right, it was pretty nifty and now it annoys me that everyone sprawls over the escalator here, haha. Didja get a RE of 5x10? Ah, I guess I'll know when I see you. I love this font, btw.

The entry/comments font? I have no idea what it actually is, LOL. But thank you :D

FRIGGIN' A, THE MOSQUITOES. Like, you'd think Japan, being technologically advanced and all, would have some sort of gizmo to just ZAP mosquitoes, but my cousin's family just set out some incense to kill a bug that got in. Which I don't think worked because I woke up with like 6 extra bites the next day.

Haha, I find myself stepping automatically to the left on escalators now, and then I wonder why people are blocking the way on the right. And I heard that in Kansai people stood on the right and passed on the left, so it's interesting that Taiwan does it, too!

Yup, I got an RE while I was in Japan, and forgot I had pre-ordered the LE from Yesasia until they emailed me, haha. So now I have both...but I regret nothing.

LOL, ah, having both RE and LE is nice cause doesn't Johnny include something in the RE that the LE doesn't? He could claim he's being nice but we all know he just wants the moolah.

I think this font is... Um. Well. I have no idea myself. But I like it. Don't change the format of your LJ till I figure it out, please.

Well, Taiwan's sometimes like Japan's mini-me (but T people are warmer), even though no one wants to admit it. So it makes sense that they do it there.
