I thought this was cute enough to share with you. ;o;
It was raining that day which seemed to make the spiky silver-haired boy calmer. Sephy loved the rain and always found it to be very peaceful. He lived with his best friend, Lulu whom he also had a crush on. Lulu had always been the only most important person to him and no one else measured up to that. Sephy was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome and didn’t like being around large crowds or places with lots of noise. He didn’t like showing fear and often withdrew or avoided situations that occurred. He also had agoraphobia which was his fear of having panic attacks when he couldn’t escape. This also made it hard for him to move out of his safe zone but Lulu was the only one that seemed to make him feel safe.
Lulu was the opposite of his best friend and crush. He hated the rain because he couldn’t go outside and play. His personality was seen as very childish and playful, never acting his age and sometimes even a little girly. He was very close to Sephy and the only person that could open him up, as well as pull him out of his shell. The two of them were very inseparable and were never seen without being side by side each other.
“I don’t like the rain.” Lulu whined as he frowned out the window. “It’s wet and cold… and totally not fun.” He poked the window with his black fingernail.
“You just don’t see the comfort of it, do you?” Sephy sighed as he continued to read his book. “I find it quite relaxing and also somewhat peaceful. You really don’t have days like this where the rain pours down over the roof.”
Lulu giggled as he poked his friend’s cheek with his finger tip. His arms clung to him while his cheek pressed against his friend’s. Sephy started to blush whenever Lulu was affectionate like this but he was also the only one who could get this close. Any other time, Sephy wouldn’t enjoy being touched without going into panic mode.
“Sephy, you’re so weird and yet… sooo cute.” He placed a kiss on his friend’s cheek. “We should do something, get out of the house, you know? I’m so bored and I just want to go out and have fun.”
“Lulu, I don’t like going out into the public.” His cheeks turned red when he was kissed. “Besides, we go out everyday. Don’t you think you can at least let me have one day where I’m not constantly worried about touch or sound or any other bothersome interactions?”
“Fine… Mr. Grumpy-kins.” He huffed as he crossed his arms over his broad chest. “What am I supposed to do? I’m not just chopped liver here, now am I?” His friend had a frightened look on his face once the lightning had struck. Lulu heard the thunder rumble through the sky, causing his friend to cover his ears. “Don’t be scared, Sephy. I won’t let anything happen to you, okay?” He held his friend in a very protective and comforting embrace, while running his hand down his soft silver-hair.
Sephy placed his arms around his best friend’s back. The thunder didn’t seem so bad when his friend had given him such comfort. Lulu was the only one that could turn a bad situation into something much more comfortable.
Everytime the thunder continued to rumble through the sky… Sephy would bury his face into his friend’s broad chest. Lulu rubbed Sephy’s back and did his best to keep him calm. It always pained him to see his friend in such distress. The only person that could really make him feel safe was Lulu.
“I thought you said the rain made you calm, silly?” He giggled at his friend.
“Yeah I said the rain not the damn thunder.” His cheeks turned red as he realized how frightened he had become. “You know I hate the thunder because it’s loud and it hurts my ears.” He didn’t want Lulu to let go of him.
“But you know I would never let anything happen to you.” He frowned as his hand rubbed his soft head. “Okay, Sephy? I’m your best friend and I’ll always be here to make you happy.” He told him.
Lulu lifted his friend’s chin and kissed his forehead. His lips were about to move closer to Sephy’s lips when another huge crash of thunder caused him to cling to Lulu. Their cheeks both turned bright red as he tried his best just to comfort Sephy as much as he could.
“I don’t like it when you’re scared, Sephy. It always makes me feel so sad.” He continued to hold him close as the thunder rumbled randomly through the sky. “Sephy, do you feel safe with me when I hold you?”
“What kind of a question is that?” He scowled as his cheeks turned red. “If I wasn’t safe, do you think I would be letting you hold me?” He looked up at his friend’s dark blue eyes. “You know you’re the only that can ever get close to me like this.”
Lulu giggled, “Yeah… you’re right.” His lips pressed against Sephy’s forehead. The rain finally stopped and the thunder didn’t rumble through the sky. “I think its okay now but if you want to stay like this we still can.” He frowned when Sephy let go. “…or not.”
“I need to finish my book so I can go to the library.” He told his friend as his cheeks turned red. “If it stopped raining, you can probably go outside and play.” His eyes looked at Lulu’s again, as he moved his reading glasses to his nose.
“Yeah but… I want to stay here with you.” He clung to Sephy’s arm and giggled. “I want to be with my only best friend in like, the whole universe.” The two of them were so inseparable that it was impossible for them to be apart.
That how Lulu acts and when he knows that Sephy is frightened or surrounded by startling situations, that's what he does. He's the only person in the world who can give Sephy so much comfort. Normally, as said, Sephy wouldn't let anyone do that but... he loves Lulu so much and Lulu pretty much nows how to take care of Sephy. <3;
IT IS TEH FIIIIIINISHED. <3
