Jealous Again Game, Pt. 2

Angel: Angel walked up to Lilah's apartment and knocked on the door. He wasn't sure what it was about Lilah that had him coming back for more. If his friends knew about it, they'd probably stake him on the spot of just thinking that he might be Angelus. He wasn't, though. He did crave company, though. Lilah offered that. He waited for her to answer.

Lilah: It took a few seconds, but I answered the door after having changed clothes. "Angel.."

Angel: "Hi." I said simply to her.

Lilah: "What're you doing here?" I asked him knowing that him coming here wasn't a good idea.

Angel: "I...I wanted to see you." Ugh, that sounded lame.

Lilah: "Really?" I asked smirking just the tiniest bit.

Angel: "Yeah, really. Can I come in?"

Lilah: I moved to let him in.

Angel: He walked inside. "Everything going OK?"

Lilah: "It was until last night."

Angel: "What happened?"

Lilah: "Lindsey's back in town."

Angel: I just stared at her for a second. "Really? Why?"

Lilah: "Yes really and why do you think?" I asked him as I sat down on my sofa.

Angel: I sat down in a chair across from her for the moment. "Great. How did he hear?"

Lilah: "Who knows, little weasel's got contacts hiden all over the damn place." I sighed.

Angel: I gave an unneeded sigh. "Not shocked to hear about that. What does he want?"

Lilah: "He wants me away from you, beyond that I have no idea." I tol him.

Angel: "Why? Because he's so much better for you?" I snorted. "That's what it is, you know. Or he just wants to find another way to irritate me."

Lilah: "It's probably the first one considering our history."

Angel: "Probably, or at least a little mix of both. He never did like me after I threw his client through a window."

Lilah: "Yeah that wasn't the best of ideas, he was pissed for over a week, couldn't stop ranting about it."

Angel: "Well, his client attacked my friend. Wasn't in a good mood that day."

Lilah: I nodded, then got up and moved towards my bedroom.

Angel: I stood up as well. "So, do you think he'll go away on his own, or what?"

Lilah: I shrugged. "Maybe."

Angel: "Be a lot easier if he did." Sort of doubted it, though.

Lilah: "Yeah, but it's Lindsey.." I said as I laid down on the bed.

Angel: "Which is why I don't expect him to."

Lilah: "You didn't really come here to talk about him." I said.

Angel: "No, I didn't," I said, sitting down on the bed as well. "But he is something that will have to be dealt with if he doesn't get bored and leaves on his own soon."

Lilah: "Let me worry about Lindsey." I said before kissing him and pulling him closer.

Angel: "Will do," I said, returning her kiss.

Lilah: Next thing I know I'm waking up to an empty bed a few hours later and my old bite mark's been torn open again from his fangs. I sighed and just laid there for a moment, as I recalled the night's events.

Angel: I left after Lilah passed out. Our 'relationship,' if you can call it that, isn't really about cuddling afterward. Same thing happened tonight that happened the other nights: sex, biting, drinking, and then leaving.

Lilah: I managed to get into the shower and cleaned up before there was a knock at my door.

Lindsey: This time it was no vampire in a long black coat, but just me, little ole' Lindsey.

Lilah: I opened the door to see it was Lindsey, then went to shut it back in his face. He was the last person I wanted to deal with.

Lindsey: I caught the door before she slammed it. "Nice mark," I said, looking at her neck. I'm no vampire, but I'm still a lot stronger than she is.

Lilah: "Go away Lindsey." I said as I walked back towards my bedroom. I still felt a bit out of it even after the hot as I could stand it shower. luckily I'd remembered to throw my robe on over my night gown.

Lindsey: "And that would just the fun out of my life," I said, walking into her apartment and shutting the door behind me. I'm not doing this for fun, but whatever.

Lilah: I ignored him as I walked back into my bedroom and grabbed the glass of water and pills that sat on my night stand.

Lindsey: "Painkillers?"

Lilah: "No." I answered as I swallowed them down with the water.

Lindsey: "Then what are they?"

Lilah: "Why do you care? Why are you even still here?"

Lindsey: "I didn't drive a thousand miles from my very safe hiding spot just to annoy you, Lilah," I pointed out.

Lilah: "Fine." I tossed him the bottle as I laid back down.

Lindsey: I looked at the bottle. "Iron pills," I said with a sigh, handing them back. "Should have guessed.

Lilah: "He hasn't taken that much.." I said not looking at him.

Lindsey: "Enough to make you need iron pills," I said, glaring for a moment. "What is it? What do you see in him?"

Lilah: I let out a small laugh. "You're jealous."

Lindsey: "No," I snap. "I'm wondering what it is that makes you do something so ridiculously insane as let yourself get bitten by a vampire again and again, especially one that technically works toward everything your place of employment is against."

Lilah: "At first it was just their assignment and then.. I don't know.." I told him.

Lindsey: "Well, it's a deadly game you're playing. What's to stop him from draining you completely one night? And don't give me that 'he's got a soul' crap. Even accidents happen. It wouldn't have to be on purpose to kill you."

Lilah: "He doesn't bite me every time.." I protested.

Lindsey: "All it takes is one slip," I told her.

Lilah: "I know what I'm doing Lindsey." I snapped at him.

Lindsey: "Do you really, Lilah?"

Lilah: "Yes." I said before turning away from him.

Lindsey: "And yet you're doing something that anyone with half a mind would consider insane. Is it a rush? Is that it?"

Lilah: "Maybe," I said without looking at him. Having him here this close is not going to lead to anything good, it never does.

Lindsey: I looked at her. "No rush is worth dying for, Lilah."

Lilah: I turned over and looked at him. "And you're what here to save me Lindsey?"

Lindsey: "I'm not trying to be any knight, but I'd like you to live, yeah."

Lilah: "Then go home." I repeated. We're through have been since he ditched me for Darla so I don't know what he thinks he's doing. Although I'd be lying if I said that there weren't still feelings for him.

Lindsey: "Going home isn't gonna help you at all." And it wasn't going to help me. Sadly, I left a lot of unfinished business here, and it was something that I needed to deal with, too.

Lilah: I sat up with a sigh and looked at him, before moving so he could sit down if he wanted.

Lindsey: I sat down next to her. "I made mistakes, Lilah. Be as pissed at me as you want, but don't shut me out right now."

Lilah: "Fine." was the only thing I could think of to say to him at the moment, while I tried to remind myself we were over and that I should not be wanting to kiss him right now.

Lindsey: "I just, I want you to be OK, and that's not gonna happen with you being a bite victim by our resident vampire with a soul."

Lilah: "You forgot about the willing victim and slight rush part.." I said as I shifted a little on the bed.

Lindsey: "Plenty of other, non-death having ways to get a rush, Lilah."

Lilah: "You would know.." I replied with a small smile.

Lindsey: "Yeah, I would," I said with a smirk.

Lilah: I moved closer to him, happy to just be near another warm body.

Lindsey: I put my arm around her. Not why I came here, but I do just miss her.

Lilah: One thing led to another and I ended up underneath him, kissing him like we'd been apart for far longer than just two years.

Lindsey: God, it feels like it's been forever since I've even been near her. I can't help myself around her.

Lilah: And as it usual does when I'm around him,the just kissing I was trying so hard to keep to didn't last. I pushed the hem of the night gown up what little I could, before moving my hands to his jeans and belt.

Lindsey: As soon as she gives me some sort of permission, my hands up her nightgown and trying to get rid of her underwear.

Lilah: It wasn't much longer, before Lindsey was inside me and I was moaning his name.

Lindsey: As soon as we're both done, I roll over and just try to put my thoughts together for a moment.

Lilah: I laid next to him too tired to move or do anything really other than breathe.

Lindsey: God, I know that, as soon as Angel is around her, he's going to smell me on her and then he'll probably try to kill me. Might end up bringing out the darkness that W&H always wanted in him after all.

Lilah: After I got myself under control again, I leaned over and kissed him again. "Stay.."

Lindsey: "OK," I said to her, a little breathless.
