Tonight was so amazing.  I found out yesterday that Barack Obama was going to be in town at the Van Andel Arena to make a speech.  I almost didn't go, because I was going to be by myself. I called Eric to see if he wanted to go, but he had cigar and ping-pong plans.  So, after I talked to him, I really got solid and decided to go anyway.  And man,

wow, thats really awesome. I wish i could have gone to see him, but the few stops he made here were either sold out in hours, or invitation only. I really really hope he gets the nomination. the more this drags out, the more hillary is pissing me off.

Yes, absolutely. The Van Andel holds about 14,000, and it was packed to the gills. There were a lot of people outside too who couldn't make it in. I know it's been forever since we've actually managed to talk. I lost my voice last week, but it's back, and I've got calls to make.

Barack and John were both really positive about the democratic party being a whole, and making sure that no matter who gets it, we vote as a single, strong party. But clearly, Barack was like, this is where it's at, folks.
