I was gone most of the weekend. When I returned home Sunday night, I went in to go talk to the bunnies and found that Cami had passed on at some point while I was gone. Rin was cuddled up next to him, keeping him warm and poking at him occasionally because he wasn't moving ( Read more... )

As long as they have the aforementioned peanut butter oreos and york peppermint patties (maybe some fruity cheerios) I'm sure he'll be happy.

There's just always that hope that they know exactly how much you loved them. I don't know if rabbits get the same concept as humans do, but I hope he got the idea in whatever the rabbit-language version is.

Thanks for the words.

Didn't you come with me to pick him up? I remember us all just calling him "so cute" for days until we figured out a name.... and him jumping right out of the little animal pen you got for the hampsters...

He was a good bun. He'll be missed more than I'm sure he could understand.

I was at the pet store with you when you first started looking at bunnies, but I dont' think I went with you to pick him up. However, I was defnitely there when he came home for the first time!

He was a precious bundle of fluff. And smart - that hamster pen didn't keep him for long!

So, so sorry to hear that.

I remember Cami being so patient with Jessica her first Easter. I have pictures of him and her in Jessica's baby book!

He was an awesome rabbit and I'll the occasional run-in I had with him.

All the best to you,
~Fel

I've cried more in the last two days over Cami than I have in the last few years put together. Life'll be hard without him for a while, it's weird to walk into the bunny room and find the cage half-empty.

He was my baby. I just hope he's happy wherever bun souls go until they get their next go-round.

Thanks :0)
