Thanks for mentioning the HeMan similarity first! I preferred Panthorr: sleek dark fur (I still have one of the velvet-flocked action figures).

Carousel tigers (and lions), well, I have an affection for them since they're so well carved and modelled at the zoo carousels. Carousel Fox has a fursuit that's one come to life. What if ... the carousel animals came to like and hopped right off the carousel like the horse race in Mary Poppins (or were temporarily reanimated like the suits of armour in Bedknobs and Broomsticks)? THEN they'd be a force to be reckoned with!
