I'm quite excited.

Sayid's death also felt right for me in the same way. Though I'm not sure how sideways-Sayid isn't also in a really bad position.

(lucky for me, I'm good at not reading the spoilery stuff ;9 I've gone from somewhere in season 2 to the 3rd episode of season 6 since... february? I'll call it boyfriend replacement, and now that his defense happened, who knows how much further I'll manage to get ( ... )

Yeah, I didn't have cable last fall. And now I'm paying for it just so I can watch Lost (and the Oscars). It's totally silly. I can get HD versions of the episodes for $2.99 each, which would be way less than I pay for cable. But they come out the next day. I couldn't handle that.

Random for a while had a computer set with a one or two TV tuners and MythTV. I believe it worked pretty consistently, but that may have been because there were a bunch of tech people around it all the time to keep it running. I don't understand why it seems to be so hard. Can't they make software that just works?

I've just gone on the assumption that tv tuner cards are underfunded or underdeveloped because most people who would pay for them (at least, for a long time when computers were not up to the task) would just get cable anyways.
