Had a pretty cool birthday. I spent part of the day with MNP (once he had finished with programs at the park.) We grabbed some ice cream (Cherry Jubilee for me,) caught 28 Weeks Later (mediocre IMO; too many "They would never do that" moments, far more gore than necessary, and a set up for a cheesy third movie should they wish to do so,) and

My brother is coming to visit this weekend. We like to get together in May, the month of both of our births (five days and two years apart.) He sounds exhausted and hopefully he'll have a nice, relaxing, fun weekend here on the Shore. I'm sure we'll have a good time in any case, checking out some of the historical sites and such

Spent this week taking care of an ill MNP, playing Scrabble, watching some Chesapeake Bay Week on MPT (and a scathing documentary regarding media and the press and the push for war in Iraq; Dan Rather saying that he was hoodwinked and simply trusted what Colin Powell said during his laughable UN presentation does not make for a compelling excuse.
