Oh, this is out of the blue but can I mention something
I was hanging out with my friend from my hometown the other day and when I got home... in the entrance
This abandoned item (Photo of a bike seat) was found where my manager was.
Huh.........
I did a double take
Losing a bike seat... (Laugh)
But, if you think about it... how in the world did the person who lost it ride his or her bike (bicycle)
Where did he or she put his or her butt
What kind of face did he or she make while riding it
Truthfully, his or her butt probably hurt a lot but did he or she act like it didn’t
On the other hand, maybe he or she didn’t notice at all.
(Laugh)
If it were me, I would get on the bike and, when I went to place my butt on the seat, notice
There’d be something wrong with my butt.
The owner probably stood while pedaling the entire time
However, I think the seat was properly returned to the hands of the owner because it was gone the following day
Thank goodness.
That’s all.
OK, setting the bike seat aside, I have something big to say.
Now,
I have been cast as Kuraki Satoru (koo-rah-kee sah-toh-roo) in the drama Gokusen.
Starting 4/19, it will be on Nippon Television every Saturday at 9pm.
Being cast in Gokusen is definitely all thanks you guys and your continuous support

I don’t know my left from my right in my very first drama but I will try with all of my might. So, please be patient and encouraging.
I feel confident having my buddy Junta-kun and JUMP’s Takagi Yuya in the cast as well.
It’s great to be cast in the awesome drama Gokusen but what makes it extra memorable is that it’s the first drama for both of us from B.A.D. to be in
Oh! That and I’d promised Yuya I’d make him a hat in the past. So, I made one for him for his recent birthda~y.
He wears it everyday with such pleasure that I’m also super pleased.
Junta-kun and I go sightseeing in Tokyo together and eat various things.
I’d like to write more about that in the next entry.
For now, I’ll talk a bit about Kuraki Satoru.
Kuraki Satoru speaks Kansai dialect and easily gets carried away. He’s emotional and talkative.
(Laugh) Yup, he’s like me, Kiriyama Akito
He’s aiming to be the class mood maker.
My hair’s all cool now with its black color.
I’m also obsessing over my outfit
In the first episode, I’m wearing a yellow-ish, neon hoodie with a leopard print belt and white sneakers. I’m also wearing a dazzling wristwatch.
(Laugh)
I’d completely been given something a person from Kansai would wear.
The biggest detail is the leopard print.
“Of course someone from Kansai would wear leopard print.
”
I’m wearing a neon hoodie and a leopard print belt in the first episode but the hoodie color and the leopard print belt changes in the next one so check it out.
Ah, also, Kuraki Satoru is called “KURA
” so everyone should call him KURA.
It’s on next Saturda~y, 4/19, at 9pm.

My voice has been hoarse recently; not from lines but from just talking too much...
B.A.D.’s Kiriyama Akito (ah-kee-toh) here.
I’m so embarrassed... (Laugh) My voice is hoarse from talking too much.
OK, putting that aside
I’ve been coming to Tokyo for a little over a month now.
I was given the opportunity to go and see a KanJani8 concert the other day.
It was a whole new experience without the Jr.s and just KanJani8.
It was rather enjoyable.
However, it made me want to perform.
Afterwards, Yokoyama-kun took us out to eat.
Despite appearing to have other plans. Yokoyama-kun broke them; said, “Sorry, my kohais are here
”; and went out to eat with us.
Furthermore, it was nabe, my favorite.
It was absolutely delicious.

When my buddy, Junta-kun, and I have time to spare, we often go on some Tokyo sightseeing... dates.
Junta-kun lu~rves me.

And, we went to Tsukishima to have some monjayaki the other day
It was something!
Tsukishima
has something called “Monja Street.”
It’s a district that’s nothing but monja restaurants.
The moment we got there, I was sorta surprised.
We immediately chose a restaurant and went in. Then, we ordered mochi cheese mentai monja and curry monja. The ingredients came out. We looked at how to make it...
Chop ingredients.
Make a ring.
Pour into ring.
Mix.
Done.
That’s it.
Did you get it?
Those were our only instructions.
(Laugh) Both of us were really puzzled... We were making monja for the first time ever in our lives... (Laugh)
But, Junta-kun brought out his exceptional skillz
His cutting up of the monja ingredients was super quick.

He was going too fast so the metal spatulas are blurry and don’t really show up.

However, we had delicious monja and it was all thanks to Junta-kun.
After eating, we were hot so the both of us topped it off with some snowcones.
(Since it was still around March) I thought I was gonna die from the cold.
That’s all.

Oh, and the ratings for the first episode of Gokusen were spectacular thanks to everyone.

When I saw myself on TV, I was honestly a tad shocked.
I was giving 100% into my performance when we were taping but when I saw it on TV it wasn’t how I’d thought I’d done it and my movements were so minute......
But, it seems
I’ve learned from it and shall fine tune my acting
The other actors are just really too brilliant.
However... Akito-kun from the Kiriyama household -- he’s famous for hating defeat -- is fired up by it
Bring it, punks
I want to keep studying and have more natural and better performances.
So you better not miss an episode.

It was super strange for me, being in Gokusen and all.

But, I’m super happy.
Furthermore, the ratings in Kansai were a little higher than those in Kanto.

It’s the one who’s getting tanner and tanner on the set of his drama, B.A.D.’s Kiriyama Akito (ah-kee-toh) here.
The Gokusen staff told me,
“Tanning’s not allowed.
(Laugh)”
But it’s not like I want to tan.
(Laugh)
It just happens......
Anyway, I appeared at JUMP’s concert the other day.
First, apologies... sorry for talking too much during the MC. m(_ _)m (Laugh)
Once it’s switched on, my mouth doesn’t stop moving.
(Laugh)
All of the JUMP fans were super kind and delightful.
Also, Chinen-kun kept messing around.

I wanted to have a concert in Osaka but one of my numerous dreams was to have a concert in Tokyo as well.

It’ll be absolutely entertaining and delight you to the point of thinking, “It’s over already
” So, be sure to show your smiling faces at Johnnys Theatre, the specially prepared venue in Odaiba, Tokyo.
The other day, I returned to Osaka for the first time in a while.
As expected, I can kick back and relax in Osaka.
I got back and immediately had some of my mom’s udon.
The udon was so~ delish
I love udon way too much. I promised my teacher from junior high school that I would go to Sanuki some time with him, I love udon that much.
(Laugh)
Not to change the subject but I’m remodeling my room.
I also designed a clock.

When Junta-kun and I heard, “Lassie,” we cracked up.

Did everyone watch the third episode
The third episode revolved around Icchi.
Icchi’s cool.
I fell for him... no, I re-fell for him.
Episode three had everyone acting friendly. Once in a while our true selves would appear and even though we were acting, I remember it being fun.
Tonight’s the fourth episode.
I’m wearing a shocking neon pink hoodie and I think you’ll recognize me right away.
You’ll also clearly see the importance of family in the fourth episode so please be sure to watch it with your entire family.
I’ve been exchanging thoughts with Yuya recently.
We’re both pretty much working on our first acting project... I’m similar to my character, KURA, but Yuya is completely different from his character, Ogata; it seems really difficult... However seeing Yuya working really hard and trying his best makes me want to try my very best too
Furthermore, Yuya’s the type who doesn’t tell other people his problems. I was truly really happy that I was the only one he came and talked to.
Don’t tell Yuya. (Laugh)

We’re still young but we’re how we are because of everyone and everyone’s warm support and we can work hard.
