I value our working relationship as well, and accept your apology. But if you're interested in making a truly sincere apology, you should do so to my wife, and in person. The incident was quite embarrassing for her.
As you are probably aware, since she is an anti-contamination committee member for this subdivision, she will be present at the desk area safety seminar being held in a week. Since we're all going to attend that anyway, that would be the ideal opportunity for you to apologize to her.

Speaking of June and her work, I've been meaning to mention to you: Several customers who have attempted to reach our department but were incorrectly routed to yours had some troublesome complaints to share about the customer service skills of your subordinates. June said one gentleman, a government official who is major buyer of our professional attire line, threatened to buy from IU if he's ever confronted with such rudeness again. You might want to make sure your employees are taking the time to learn our corporate public service code instead of fiddling around playing deathcheckers on their computers all day.
