We didn’t make it to Indy today for Padawan’s morning class.  We tried.  All the news put it as nothing major.  What we got was down right dangerous.  Blowing snow that was slick on the roads and drifting with the high winds.  Top driving speed was 30 mph with white out conditions.  Our car with ABS (all wheel drive when slick) was fish tailing ( Read more... )

The tethered cell phone modem works on my old computer.  Again, I won’t be able to do a lot of regular things, but on the days I need faster internet I can stay at Padawans school for a few hours where I get better reception/hence faster internet.   I still have to find a way to upload my graphics to my printers, etc.  But hey half the ( Read more... )

Ugly:

·        House can be anywhere from 45 to 70 degrees depending on heating time and how long we are away from home.

·        My kitchen stove died on us.
