Super Stars of the Super Bowls Part 2

You know, I gotta say it's really great to watch Jimmy Kimmel and see how they're showing Detroit. The opening titles are absolutely wonderful and capture a lot of the things we have (and that I mentioned in yesterday's entry). I have to give props to Kimmel because I know how often he and his staff were here to prepare for this rather than just ( Read more... )

lol, you're cute. I'm lovin' how in to this you are. Good for Detroit :) Everyone deserves a second chance, right? :)

So you throwin' some big party this weekend in honor of your town?

Huge! You should see it. Covers the whole city! Lots of celebrities....it's awesome!

Yeah, I'm kinda proud of all this. Most national news about my town is usually bad, and usually undeserved as well. People think the minute you cross the city limits, you'll get shot or robbed. I mean, it's not like it's NYC. ;)

Anyhoo, I usually get questions along the lines of "How can you live there?" as if I'm in some hellish area. I mean, I'm actually in a suburb of the hellish place. No really, it's really a good place and I'm glad we're getting the chance to show that.

This weekend is Lisa's birthday, so we're going to go all "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" downtown without kids and check out the festivities. It'll be cool!

Yeah, it's not as if you live in East St. Louis or something.....

;)

Happy birthday to Lisa, I'm sure you'll show her the time she deserves. Seriously, flowers would be nice, too. Guys always forget the flowers. Trust me, we NEVER forget the flowers. Do it. Shut up and do it. And thank me later.

Heh heh heh...no they would not be.

I have married the one woman who could not care any less about flowers. And it's funny because I have gotten into stupid arguments with people who tell me I'm full of shit and insist that I get her flowers.

No, Lisa wants chocolate. So last year I got her 6 chocolate roses.

East St. Louis...whoa. But the difference is that East St. Louis is only a part of St. Louis. When people diss us, it's all about the entire city of Detroit. Like I said, we've got a complex!

But man are we partying right now!
