So, maybe those of you in the LA area can best answer this. Does the novelty of seeing places that you've been to on TV ever go away? I'm just totally loving watching Jimmy Kimmel this week and seeing skits in yet more places I'm familiar with. nope - every week when I watch the office, it CRACKS me up that it's set in SCRANTON, PA, which is a stone's throw from here and not that "big" of a city....

LOL at your Detroit comments. I do the same things.

Did you go to Kimmel? I requested tickets, but didn't get any.
I'm heading downtown tomorrow, so maybe I'll spot some celebs!

No, I didn't even try to get tickets, but I am very excited at how much he is showing. I knew he'd and the show staff had been in town quite a bit leading up to this week, so I'm glad that extra effort is coming through.

We're going to be down there as well. It'll be crazy! When was the last time downtown Detroit was such a happening spot? :)
