Like most people my age my memories are full of Walter Cronkite. Particularly the emotion that sometimes seeped into his broadcast

Too true. What's even worse is when it is obvious that the newsreader is a mere news reader, who has no comprehension of what she or he has just imparted.

They don't play it anymore , more's the pity as ' faux news ' fits this description to a 'T' =8-^ .

We were quite lucky to have grown up when we did so we got to hear him .

Another good man down .

He will be greatly missed .
