I wonder if anyone actually sees these

Dec 06, 2008 12:11

Since I rarely post, and even more rarely have anyone comment on what I post, I wonder if that means that all the people that have friended me over the years, actually have me filtered out (or not filtered in) of the friends page that they actually keep an eye on;  I could post any wild thing here and just be talking to myself ( Read more... )

Hello :)
I see your posts, but in your latest post you were asking about UK copyright, and I didn't have anything useful to say about that...

LOL…. Just testing… rather like tapping on the mic to see what happens.

And yes, the last post was quite specialized, and the one before that (which I have since taken down) was a complete rant about the Dansk Folkeparti, a group that can reduce me to complete inarticulate rage, but not something many outside of Denmark are likely to have much of an opinion on.

But, before I started posting with wild abandon, I thought perhaps I should, just maybe, test the waters out a wee bit. You never know. The lake could be populated by a whole village of giant squid or sump’in. :(

Yeah, that post was probably just a tad overly optimistic. This post, on the other hand, has been very succesful. :) *waves back*

*waves back* Nice to hear that. Just doing a "sound check" so to speak. I seem to be considering, as if I need yet another activity (/me checks head for holes), actually doing some serious posting here.

The more you post, the more comments you'll receive as people get to know you. Especially if you ask questions and interact with them. You'll see.

LOL... the problem is more the opposite. I think I am more afraid of being overwhelmed rather than underwhelmed. But this is working, I'm finding out who I might be talking to, after years of friending just to read their stories. And I'm really pleased to find out who IS out there. :)

Hmm, so you saying that you wouldn't recommend that I just take off my clothes and jump into the pond... might suddenly find myself disporting in the nude on YouTube... ;)

You'd certainly get some comments if you did.

I'd be more worried about lawsuits for causing blindness, cruel and unusual punishment and the like.

I'm sorry I am not commenting frequently--rl has been crazy for months now, and I've been a terrible flake online--but I'm reading your posts and I care! <3

This has been really amusing, since I've never seriously tried to use LJ for anything other than commenting on what others have said or asked, to suddenly find out that they're are people who might actually read what I have to say too.

/me waves back at the audience she didn't know she had... :)
