stupid medical crap

My splendid spouse came up with elevated liver enzymes a few months ago. Well, several of the meds he takes for cardiac reasons are liver toxins (and one was also causing issues with his eyes) so we ditched them. But the liver levels didn't go down. So now the doctor has ordered tests for hepatitis A,B and C, and tomorrow he gets an ultrasound

I hate stupid medical crap. I hope your husband doesn't have Hep C.

Medical stuff is so anxiety producing and it makes one feel helpless. Ask questions, research and take care of you.

I'm crossing my fingers for you that it's not hep. Unfortunately, meds can build up over the years and start to get hard on the liver when they weren't before. I hope that the doc can come up with some alternate therapies for both the cholesterol and for liver therapy that aren't so hard on your spouse.
