Yeah, this is a pathetic journal. But I also don't have much to say :)

New job is sucking up all my time. In a good way - I really enjoy doing science outreach and I think it's an important issue in this country. And a good use of my Ph.D., although I do miss research.

So, Last Man Standing (it should really be called Last Person Standing, because a woman won last year) is a huge art death match put on by the folks at ConceptArt. Contestants (over 400 of them) are put into 4-person matches and given a month to finish one piece of art that will shred their opponents.
