I am very excited about having you as a new livejournal friend! It is a bit different, yes, not personally knowing your readers. I find it to be a bit freeing though, being able to completely express yourself, without reservation. Then again, that may just be something that comes along with my age of 29... please tell me it is! hahahahahaha!

And you make a good point, about having the freedom to express yourself in this framework, although I've always thought of this factor as the greater freedom of making negative remarks. But as it seems to apply on LJ, what I've seen has been mainly on the positive side, which is an inviting turn.
Maybe that positive/negative difference has something to do with whether it vanishes as you get older; like people tend to tighten up IF what they have to say is negative. Or is it the other way around?
