[Dee has a look of quiet contemplation on her face as she turns on the Pokegear, but her trademark smile is back soon enough.]

Things have been a bit slow-going for me; turns out I twisted my ankle a bit last time. You know, I can't really say I like pain that much. Still, at least Ronmeer has been helping.

[The screen turns around, showing that she' ( Read more... )

...

[ Kisa looks a bit concerned, possibly for both the lady (who may be pinging reincarnated tiger senses just a wee bit) and the soul-staring devil fish. Because it looks somewhat dazed. ]

I think it's his way of showing he cares!

...Are you okay?

[Dee has pinged into that she's a bit strange sometimes.]

[ Kisa quickly nods; aside from still being unable to make herself speak, she's perfectly fine. And she's not the one with a fish ice pack. ]

[It is a rather fantastic fish ice pack, possible brain dead issue aside.]

...Are you worried about me? [There's a little small smile now.]

Wellp, I'd say most people don't like pain... [Also ugh that Magikarp ugh. Heather's already decided that those things are creepy as hell. She got rid of her own eerily-wall-eyed one a good while back.]

And ahahah, believe me, once you lie down on something that's not covered in roots or rocks, you will enter a state of ecstasy unrivaled by anything I can think of.

It's that good.

[Heather knows what she's talking about. A whole month is a long time to go without sleeping indoors. At least when you're used to having a bed.]

[The stare will never leave you, Heather. It will haunt you forever and ever. NO ESCAPE. This thing cannot possibly evolve into a Gyarados, it will evolve into a Silent Hill thing, that is how bad it is.]

Ecstasy, huh? I wouldn't mind a little bit of that- I had some coffee in Cherrygrove and it was great.

The way you talk about this sounds like it's going to be even better.

[Dee has some pretty low standards when it comes to a great time.]

[ugughghghghhhh nooo she got enough of that from Wall-Eyed Magikarp, she doesn't need any mooooore. Wrinkling her nose, she tries to ignore whatever of Evil Death Magikarp is still visible.]

Oh yeah, forgot about the coffee. Getting coffee after being stuck in the wilderness for awhile is pretty sweet, too.

But nothing beats a bed.

You will sleep like a rock.

[Okay, fine, you'll be pleased to know he's not in the shot right now. Poor Ronmeer, so unloved.]

Ignoring the boringness of being a rock, it sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

[Offering help doesn't come naturally to him. But he doesn't really have any issues with 'Dee'. After nearly thirty seconds of silence, he finally speaks. Quietly]

I can help you if you need it.

[Oh hey there, strange little smile again. She's just as quiet right back.]

Are you sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem for you?

It wouldn't be. I'm weaker than I was, but I'm not weak.

(ooc: I'm going to assume that being the antisocial derp he is, he went ahead of Dee and Greed a little, but can backtrack to help)

You and Greed seem to share the same idea.

If you think you can and it's no trouble, then I won't tell you no!

(ooc: That sounds like him. Oh, Ulquiorra!)

[action] I hope it's cool he's nearby still XD greedismyname November 8 2010, 23:50:14 UTC
[Greed walks over with his pokemon in tow, Scout peeping over his shoulder at Dee as Lucky trots beside him]

How's that ankle doin', pretty lady? I think it's just another klick 'r two t' Violet. [Grinning, he sits down beside her, careful not to disturb her ankle.] If you want, I c'n carry you.

((ooc: btw, this is a bit random, but I don't think Greed knows his Sentret, Scout, is female. This may produce hilarity later XD))

[She puts away her gear as he approaches, smiling widely as usual.] It's getting much better. I'm probably not helping it by being so restless, but I'm doing okay anyway. Ronmeer is great!

[She reaches down to pat the Magikarp, whose eyes roll into the back of his head. There's an awkward pause, and then they roll back.]

...I wonder if he's chemically unbalanced...? [She shakes her head before looking back to Greed.] I hope you remember you're human; you can't carry me all the way to Violet.

(ooc: Oh, Greed. XD That'll be a fun surprise. Dee's here for all your breeding needs if you need 'em!)

[he grins, pulling the skull of the missingno from his bag and putting it in front of Lucky, who happily starts nomming on one of the protrusions and wagging his tail.]

Heh, maybe. It's not like you'd be heavy 'r somethin'. Anyhow, I'm sure Ronmeer's jus' fine. One of my good friends, Bido, little lizard guy, he seemed a bit slower than th' rest, but he was probably th' most fun t' be around once he came out of his shell. Kid was damn loyal too. These little guys are loyal like that too. I think that's what's important.

Yeah... Amazing things can come out of little packages if you wait for them. [She seems to be thinking of something else because she stares into the distance oddly before looking back to Lucky. The sight makes her grin.]

They really do love you, 'tho. You treat them well. If anyone deserves loyalty, it's you.

[Prussia's used to his own Magikarp staring into his soul. Damn thing.]

So it's useful for something.

[He's still humiliated with being stuck with something so useless.]

[Clearly their Magikarp should meet. It can be a horrifying romance.]

Everything's useful for something. You just have to get creative every once in a while.

[Yes, it'll be interesting. They'll stare at each other, and make fish noises.]

[He raises an eyebrow. Well, it's clear she's one to live by her words. He then smirks.]

I'll make mine useful [somehow], better than for icing ankles~

[Do Magikarp have souls, or will their stares break reality? Again?]

Oh, oh, you'll have to tell me! We can trade Magikarp ideas.
