Gah! I missed your birthday! Happy (belated) Birthday dear wuffie!!
Glad you had fun with the planes and of course the ladies gave you some attention =^.^= Smart ladies.
When we lived in Toronto, the black squirrels would come up close to anyone sitting on a bench but stay away from people walking around. They wouldn't accept food from just anybody either, it took us about two weeks of constantly showing up before any of the squirrels would accept food from us. Although there were lots of signs around telling people not to feed the squirrels. *looks innocent*
Here in Austin, the squirrels down around the university and the state capitol building are notoriously bold, due to years of students and visitors feeding them. They'll not only come right up to beg for handouts, they'll flat-out steal any food they can get their little paws on. :)
When I worked at the other hotel, I had a squirrel trained to run up my pant leg to my hip, where I would give it a hazel nut. I must be on dozens of other people's vacation pictures. :D
You're only as old as you feel - so apparently, we can swing from 20 to 90 and back again, depending on the day. "0 to 60 in 3 seconds" should not apply to people. :P
Just got back from vaca and am catching up on my LJ friends entries. Been wondering where you've been and what you've been up to. Thanks for the update. And happy belated birthday~ hope it was great!
