i used to have to do the same shit. i worked for a mag company and at the end of each call i would tell the customer that we have "specials" on mags for risk free offers, now say they already gave me their credit card # to resubscribe to a different mag....you getting my drift...that's right the mag would charge the man/woman for the new mag if they didn't call by a certain date which was BEFORE the free trial ended. our excuse was we didn't want them to have an interruption in service so we charged it for their convenience, YET, without their knowledge. same thing if you go to sam goody's or other record stores, make a purchase and put it on your credit card, you better not fill out that form for "free" mags...genious
